Workforce Issues Survey
Please consider participating in this important survey of employers in the Greater Akron area over the next three weeks. I’m sure you know all too well that the last 18 months have proven to be challenging in unprecedented ways as companies seek to recruit and retain the talent they need to remain competitive and grow. Results of this survey will be used to inform a community-wide effort in early 2022 to increase the numbers of open positions filled for high-demand positions in Summit, Medina and Portage Counties.
We are asking that you or your senior HR leader complete the survey here which will be open until November 29, 2021. It should take 7-10 mins to complete.
The goal of the survey is to:- Better understand your experience as you work to fill open positions;
- Hear recommendations for how the community can better support your efforts;
- Explore how open you might be to collaborate with your peers and other talent ecosystem partners to innovate solutions;
- Inform roundtable discussions which will take place in December to which you will be invited to participate; and
- Inform next steps for collective community action.
You are likely to receive this request from some of our colleagues and other partners whose logos appear below. That’s because a range of organizations are working together on this research project which will also include an effort to reach working age adults. If you complete the survey, you’ll receive research results for both components and an invitation to review the data. We know the challenges we face require an “all-hands-on deck” effort and we appreciate your voice as an essential component to the development of an effective strategy.
